Even though it has been a difficult year our Women’s Captain Pip March has managed to get all our yearly competitions completed in a shortened version.
We thank you Pip for all the time and effort you have put in this year.
Our Club Champions (pictured right) for 2020 are from left to right:
Ros Mills C Grade, Helen Pengilly B Grade, Jess Reynolds A Grade and Club Champion and Carol Murray D Grade.
Many other Women were Trophy winners which shows the depth of talent we have at WGC.
Congratulations to all who have participated throughout the year. You are all winners.
This year the WGC Women were invited to play in the Southern Shield. This is a Match play event between 5 local clubs. Thaxted Park, The Vines, Flagstaff Hill, Blackwood and now Willunga.
Congratulations to our team for winning the event and being invited back in 2021 to defend their number one spot. The team from left to right Helen Pengilly, Gill Doyle, Carol Collins, Anne McDonald and Kath Layton.
