Irrigation renewal project

Willunga Golf Course aerial

What is happening this week

For the week commencing 16 June 2025, we will start the installation of lateral valves on the 4th hole mainline. Once the lateral valves are in place, we will proceed with the installation of irrigation to the 4th green and tee, followed by the valves on the 8th and 3rd hole mainlines, which will enable the installation of irrigation to the 8th and 3rd greens, time permitting. (The lateral valves control the flow of water to individual sprinklers on each hole, allowing precise irrigation of specific areas such as greens and tees. The mainline is the main water pipe that feeds the course’s irrigation system.)

This is subject to weather and ground conditions.

During construction, we’ll keep disruption to a minimum, all 18 holes will remain open for weekend competitions, and no more than three holes will be closed at any one time on weekdays.
